What I Did On My Spring Break

I walked. A lot. Remember this post from December, Get Fit the Easy Way? In this video, Dr. Mike Evans suggests people get moving for just 30 minutes a day. This inspired me to incorporate more walking into my day by tracking my steps. Then in March, I signed up for Women out Walking with some friends for more inspiration. So on vacation last week in beautiful San Francisco, in addition to chowing on great vegan food I walked all over the city. I took 130,749 steps to be exact, and this is what I saw along the way.

Stay tuned for photos from my walks at home. San Francisco’s got nothing on my Chicago neighborhood. Although I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to top the Hello Kitty truck. It’s spring! Get out there and do something.

    Glad I got to take some of those steps with you. Just bought my fitbit and am charging it now. Great pics. didn’t know you took so many. Lots of art around the city. Good to share.
