The winner for the KUR Delights giveaway is Sheri Y. Congratulations! Thanks for participating.
It’s time for another giveaway! I recently sampled KUR Delights and they asked if I’d like to do a product review and giveaway for my readers. Of course, I said yes. I like to win stuff. I figure you do too. If you haven’t heard of KUR Delights, keep on reading.
KUR Delights are chocolatey, bite-sized snacks that will satisfy any sweet tooth. They are the perfect sized sweet snack for me — two bites: one because I want a snack and two because one bite is never enough. It was just the right amount for a little sweet treat. Best of all, I didn’t feel guilty eating them.
KUR Delights are made using only raw ingredients and are certified organic. They are made with no additives, chemicals or added sugar. You can choose from three flavors: Brownie, Coconut Cream and Dark Chocolate Mint. I enjoyed all three flavors but the mint was my favorite. Of course, KUR Delights are vegan. They are also Kosher and gluten-free.
You can find this healthy snack online.

I’d have to say my favorite vegan food right now is peanut butter. Not very exciting and I’m sure it will change, but I’m sticking to it for now. :)
Nothing wrong with peanut butter! :)
My favorite vegan food has to be quinoa. It’s so versatile, sometimes I eat it 3 times a day :) So good for me too!
I love quinoa. I never ate it until after I was vegan. My world opened up in so many ways when I went vegan. :)
Honestly? I’d have to say…ALL of it! I never dreamed that being vegan would be so richly satisfying. There is no end to the recipes I want to try, and the delicious food I eat on a daily basis. Did you ever see the movie with Meryl Streep, where she is in heaven and can eat everything she wants without getting fat? “Defending Your Life”, I think. Great movie! Anyway, that is how I feel everyday. Every day is a new adventure in eating, and I love it!
Awesome, Rebecca. I love hearing things like this. I don’t think I’ve seen that movie. I will look for it. Sounds great! I love your analogy.
Beans! I love them on salads; in stews, soups; as tofu, as burgers, seasoned over rice and more ways than I can shake a stick at. I’m learning how to sprout them now.
I love beans too! I should eat more of them. :)
Just one fave??? Hmmm… I love the Raw Tiramisu @ Chicago Raw located in the French Market (bottom of Olgivie Transportation Center); Amazing Flavor.
That is a good dessert!
Like many other vegans, it’s so hard to choose one favorite food. But right now, I would have to say tomatoes. My garden is inundated with them. I’ve been enjoying them every day.
Growing as a vegan, I feel rewarded all the time with the new discoveries of the delicious foods that have been here all along. I was just too blinded by the ads (for meat, dairy, and junk food) to see them.
It wasn’t until I became vegan that I first discovered pomegranates and starfruit. Now, our vegan kitchen is a beautiful assortment of color.
Home grown tomatoes are so good. Wish I lived near you, Sally! :)
My current obsession is Gardein Seven-Grain Crispy Tenders, with a homemade curry dipping sauce (the base is Vegenaise, another must-have). I am addicted and have to limit myself to enjoying them once a week.
Sounds delicious!
Hummus! :)
Couldn’t live without hummus!
My favorite vegan food is quinoa and chickpeas. I love it!
Yep, those are two staples in our kitchen too.
I don’t think I can choose just one favorite vegan food – but right now, the item I’m definitely eating/utilizing the most (not counting what comes out of my gardens) is tempeh. I’m able to get some that is locally made and wow – fresh tempeh is so delicious! I’m making a lot of grilled tempeh and arugula sandwiches, and if I season my tempeh following one of the numerous mock bacon recipes in my vegan cookbooks and then grill it up, it makes for an amazing kale-based BLT salad. It’s easy to add into a stir fry. It makes great gluten-free chorizo and sloppy joe filling. Heck, it even makes a decent vegan carne asada if I marinate it long enough.
Okay – I think I *do* have a favorite vegan food item after all.
Thanks for offering this giveaway – those snacks look delicious!
Monika, I love tempeh AND arugula. I’m going to have to make a sandwich soon.
That’s a tough one since all my favorite foods are vegan (as I am vegan!). I do love semisweet chocolate chips!
Me too!
Right now my fave Vegan food is Avocado Alfredo pasta!!
Dawn, that sounds so good. Would you be willing to share the recipe?
Spinach, it’s just so versatile… raw or cooked. I put it in everything: smoothies, soups, salads, beans, quinoa, sandwiches. That reminds me, I ran out this morning… must get more.
Spinach IS versatile. I love it in smoothies too.
Rice, it is so versitile. From savory to desserts
Rice is versatile. I love rice pudding.
I am not sure. It is all new to me. Gardein products have been good. I am learning that many packaged products I thought were vegan are not. It is a slow change for me from the SAD to Vegan…
I did have a vegan chocolate chip cookie sandwich creme from Wholefoods over the weekend and that is all I can think about now. I want to buy more! or learn how to bake them myself.
Congrats on your change, Sheri. There is a lot to learn, but it’s worth it. Eventually it will be very easy for you. :)
Thanks. I am trying. It is difficult when the spouse is still very much a carnivore and I have to cook for him too! I don’t feel defeated though. I mean I am much more aware of what I am eating and where it came from and make way better decisions. It may take me some time but I will make a complete switch. =)
Just glad to find your blog and so many others that are so encouraging.
Thanks!
Sheri, I HIGHLY recommend Colleen Patrick-Goudreau’s online program, the 30-Day Vegan Challenge, http://www.30dayveganchallenge.com/ as a complete “immersion” program into veganism (and, of course, reading this blog!). The program is only $20 right now, and it’s walks you through every step of your new journey. Good luck and congratulations!
Great idea, Rebecca. Thanks!
Thanks Rebecca! I will check this out!
Sheri, this video on the top 16 causes of death should provide you with a little more ammunition – if you can get your husband to watch it (spoiler alert – vegan men have higher testosterone levels!!)

Blueberries! Fresh organic blueberries from the farmer’s market, yummmm!
Any fruit really, because it’s delicious and I don’t have to read the ingredients!
So true, Debbie!
I would have to say its a toss up between avocado or bbq tempeh.
I like both avocados and BBQ tempeh too, Danny, but if I had to choose it would avocados. I could eat them at every meal!
I love Zuchini. it makes the best raw pasta ever!
Thanks for reminding me about raw pasta. I haven’t had it in ages. So good!
Organic Bananas and raw almonds for breakfast…nom nom nom
I love my girlfriend’s amazing vegan pizza. She picks up dough on the way home from work and uses our pizza stone in the oven to make delicious vegan pizzas with Daiya, vegan pesto or tomato sauce, and seasonal veggies from the farmers market. We often invite friends over for pizza and even our non-veggie friends can’t get enough of it! It’s her specialty.
Vegan pizza! That’s what I want for dinner. :)
Tofutti Cutie! Love that stuff.
I recently tried baby kale for a delicious salad mix – it was great
I love baby kale too.
Right now my favorite snack is watermelon with fresh mint! Or iced soy lattes….
