Tip #259: Don’t text and drive. What does this have to be with being vegan? Vegans don’t want to harm others. Texting and driving greatly increasing the chance of harming another. It’s okay if you don’t answer a text or phone call right away. I promise.
Tip #260: Skip the plastic. Always carry a reusable water bottle with you. Since I have made this a habit, I have probably bought less than five plastic bottles of water over the past few years.
Tip #261: If you have kids who are picky eaters and don’t like vegetables, check out this method of encouraging vegetable consumption. I wonder if it would work on adults as well? You know those folks who don’t like tofu and other vegan foods?
Tip #263: I’m making chili this week. It’s the perfect dish to welcome Fall. This is my favorite veggie chili recipe. [Update: Surprisingly chili makes a great breakfast food. I’ve been eating it every morning and loving it!]
Tip #264: Sometimes when it comes to family, the vegan conversation isn’t always easy. There is a fine line between speaking your truth and maintaining good relations with others. Both are important. When you find yourself in this position, it’s a good idea to stop and take a few deep breaths before you respond.
