It’s Easy Being Vegan Step-by-Step
Start buying cruelty-free make-up and personal care products like shampoo, conditioner, soaps and facial cleaners made without animal testing. Many popular brands are cruelty-free.
After declaring myself a vegetarian in 1985, I started buying brands not test on animals. I didn’t do it 100% of the time, but most of the time. There weren’t a lot of options where I lived and the internet was yet to be the amazing resource for consumers that it is today. Now you can find anything you want on the internet, so where you live is no reason to continue to support animal testing.
Tip: Vote with your dollars. Companies decided what to sell by what people are buying. Shop compassionately.
When you’re ready to go the extra mile, switch to entirely vegan products that aren’t tested on animals and do not contain any animal ingredients. Check the Leaping Bunny or PETA websites to see if the brands you currently use are safe for the animals. If not, these websites list hundreds of cruelty-free brands.
