This Instant Pot was my birthday gift this year, and I love it. Why didn’t I get one sooner, like when all my friends were raving about it? I have used it two times today already in preparation for Thanksgiving dinner (beans and wild rice), and I will use it one more time this evening for taco night (brown rice). While I haven’t used all of its features yet, the pressure cooker component is worth the investment if you frequently use a PC. The Instant Pot is quiet and there’s no need for the loud exhaust fan above the stove, which makes listening to music, NPR, or your favorite podcast all the more pleasant.
Also, it’s a space saver — I now have one gadget instead of three. (I gave away my old pressure cooker, slow cooker, and rice cooker.)
