Just wanted to send out a quick update. I didn’t know when I started “It’s easy being vegan!” that I would enjoy blogging so much. I know many of you are subscribers (thank you!) and I hope you are finding it useful. I have just updated the links in the blogroll on the right side with lots of new categories (Travel, Dating, Festivals, etc.) and separated the shopping links into specific categories, such as shoes/bags, fashion, accessories, home, and more, to make it easier to find what you need. I continually add links as I run across new veg businesses both online and in the Chicago area as well as Chicago-area veg restaurants. Feel free to send me any links you would like added. You can do this anytime by sending me a comment which can be found after the end of each blog post.
My intention is to make it as easy as possible to be vegan, so if you have a specific topic that I haven’t covered in one of my posts, please let me know and I will address it if possible. I am hoping that the information I provide is useful for vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores alike–anyone who is either living this lifestyle or interested in learning more about it.
Because I know so many talented people (lucky me!) including several writers by trade, I had an idea I wanted to share. Would any of you readers out there like to write a post(s) for “It’s easy being vegan?” Perhaps review your favorite Chicago veg restaurant, store, or cookbook. Maybe share your favorite vegan recipe? How about a recent vegan travel experience? I know many of you are passionate about many issues related to veganism, such as animals, the environment, cooking, and nutrition to name just a few. If the subject is appropriate and you feel so inclined, you could write an entry to be posted on “It’s easy being vegan!” Of course, you will receive the credit for your post.
